High School Apprenticeship Challenge
The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) High School Apprenticeship Challenge facilitates and funds paid internship opportunities for high school students throughout the Commonwealth.

Museum of Science Internship
Over summer, the Museum of Science offers paid internship opportunities for teens. Internships are available in education spaces and behind the scene roles where you will learn how the museum operates and gain valuable skills through your work and professional development workshops. Interns work throughout the Museum on a wide variety of projects and tasks including everything from science education to behind-the-scenes work. An internship at the Museum of Science is an excellent way to gain a hands-on, work-learn experience in a specific area of interest or field of study.

LEAH Project
The LEAH Project is a STEM, college access, and career readiness program for high school youth typically underrepresented in STEM. We are recruiting for two internships that include biology and data analysis lab work at LabCentral or MIT, mentorship opportunities with STEM professionals, and future summer internship placements. This is a stipend opportunity; students will earn approximately $2,250 for summer 2024. Learn more about the differences between the two internship tracks at the application link.
BU PROMYS
PROMYS is a six-week summer program at Boston University designed to encourage strongly motivated high school students to explore in depth the creative world of mathematics in a supportive community of peers, counselors, research mathematicians, and visiting scientists.

BU SummerLab
SummerLab provides students with an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of basic techniques and concepts associated with biotechnology and DNA science. This is a hands-on, laboratory-based program during which students work cooperatively in laboratories at the Boston University School of Medicine.
