The City School
We work with young people ages 14-19 living in Boston and its surrounding suburbs who are emerging leaders and have a passion for social justice. Our community intentionally crosses lines of race, class, gender, and neighborhood.
Young people come to SLP concerned about injustice and ready to learn more, and emerge from SLP ready to be part of a broader movement for social change.

Teen Empowerment
Teen Empowerment's mission is to empower youth and adults as agents of individual, institutional, and social change.

TE does this through three programs. 1) Boston Youth Organizing Initiative focused on violence prevention and positive youth development efforts in the community 2) Teen Empowerment Studios which is TE’s youth-run artist collaborative in Boston, producing original, professional-quality, socially-conscience music and performance arts and 3) Opportunity Youth United (OYU), a solutions-oriented, national movement of young adults who have experienced poverty and are dedicated to creating a society with opportunity and responsibility, love and respect, education and employment, justice and equality for all.

Mothers for Justice Youth Peer Leadership Program
The Youth Peer Leadership program is an engaging initiative for youth aged 14-18, focusing on developing essential leadership skills for positive community change and fostering healthy relationships.
We collaborate with Boston youth programs for peer-to-peer workshops, leading STEM sessions at BPS schools. Participants also organize community events to promote peace and unity, contributing to the well-being of neighborhoods.
This initiative inspires and equips young leaders for a meaningful impact through skill-building, community engagement, and educational outreach
