As part of the UMass Amherst Summer Pre-College Program and run by the #1 ranked Sport Management department on the globe, McCormack’s summer Sport Management & Leadership Academy provides a platform for talented high school students to learn practical sport business applications and industry insights from our world renowned faculty and industry-leading alumni.

Young women and students of color who cannot meet the financial obligations of the Sport Management & Leadership Academy are encouraged to apply for a scholarship.

Suffolk University Sports Management Program

 FREE program! Titletown to Sneaker Town: An Inside Look at Boston’s Sports Industry. 

During this three-week immersive program, you and your fellow rising high school juniors and seniors will learn about the professional teams that power our city’s sports world, the many organizations working in this field, and the amazing career paths you can pursue. You'll also earn three credits toward your future undergraduate education at Suffolk. 

Metro Lacrosse

Counselors in Training (CITS) are trained as coaches and spend 8 weeks coaching young people at various summer camps across the city.

BNBL

BNBL is the oldest municipal basketball league in the country serving young men and women.  Encompassing recreation, sports and community engagement, BNBL real value is helping make Boston a happier and safer in the summer months by providing a physical outlet for youngsters throughout the city. BNBL is played at Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF) community centers and selected city parks.

The Base

The BASE provides student athletes with year-round, superior baseball and academic training, access to college fairs and showcases, professional visits and academic scholarships available through partnerships with several colleges and universities throughout the country. The BASE operates a premier national urban youth training academy which combines sports and academic opportunities with a methodology that cultivates excellence, belief and love.  We are making the invisible, visible and shining a spotlight on the limitless potential of our young people.

Tenacity Coach

Looking for an awesome summer job? Tenacity is hiring for the Summer Tennis & Reading Program. This is an exciting and fun opportunity to work safely outside, engage in delivering tennis and reading activities with children, and make some money. 

Boston Scores

Since 1999, Boston Scores has offered students enrolled at Boston Public Schools with the opportunity to join a team, to play soccer & learn about nutrition, develop writing & self-expression skills, and execute service-learning projects. Each of our school partners recruits a team of 15 boys and 15 girls to participate in all program activities. Activities include practices, enrichment workshops, and game days. Programs are teacher-led ensuring the highest quality and providing opportunities for teachers to interact with students in a more recreational setting.

AAU Basketball

AAU Basketball is an opportunity for young men and women to play basketball in a competitive environment while learning the benefits of leadership and sportsmanship. Tryouts for teams occur throughout the winter, and tournaments are held during the spring and summer.
