What is PREP?

PREP stands for the Pacific Rim Enrichment Program. The purpose of PREP is to support you in exploring your interests, passions and talents. PREP is your opportunity to try out possible career paths, experience a college campus, or get involved in your community. PREP prepares you for college and beyond!

PREPs should be in the general areas of college readiness, career exploration or community service, for a minimum of 75 hours per summer. PREP is once again a REQUIREMENT for all rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders for Summer 2025.

How to choose a PREP:

PREP is a great way for you to figure out what you are passionate about. Start exploring different topics listed in the PREP directory, and see what might be a good fit.

Remember to look at the dates of each program, and ensure that you will not be away for any portion of the program.

Most programs listed here are free or low-cost. Many of the more expensive programs have financial aid available. As you explore options, know what contribution your family would be able to make, and make sure financial aid offered could cover the remainder.
